Art dumparoo 1

Man, this file is enormous.

I don't believe I've posted an art dump to this account, but if I have I apologize in advance. |D Anywho. These are three pictures that have just been collecting dust in my jumpdrive, and it honestly makes me sad that they just sit there incomplete. But the thing is, I lost the motivation to continue with them, and they more than likely will never get any more done than this. But I wanted to share, because sharing is nice

1. Honestly, I think the biggest thing that made me stop on this picture is its enormity. This is the largest file size I've ever worked with - something like 3000x2400 or some shit - and because of this I just lost the will to even attempt to shade and finish it. Why is the file so large? Well, I drew this one when I discovered that my pictures looked better if the image was bigger and dA did its little shrinky-doo size thing. Now I've discovered vector lines, which make it all pretty AND I can have the picture at a comfortable size. <3 Anyway, I still really love how the lineart of this looks, and the shrink's hair is so beautiful. Syn's hair looks weird, because I'd left the picture alone so long I forgot how I did it, and then I just got pissed and quit trying. |D

2. After I drew Ray [my iPod ginjinka] me and Dess thought she would probably have a "rampage mode". This was the conceptual idea behind it, and I still think it looks neat, but I never gained the will to line it out. So she shall remain as a rainbow sketch, I suppose.

3. This, actually, is vent art. There was supposed to be blood and movement and I was hoping to make this one of my better pieces, but again lack of motivation attacked me and I only managed to do the eyes, which look like crap by the way. I'm not good with color schemes, so I'm sure their colors look a little off, but I figured what the hell, haha. They also had strings, but I forgot to make that layer visible when I made this |D

What I really find funny, is that all three of these pictures are related to anger and insanity. You all know Syn is an insane sadist, Ray is pretty raging and insane in that mode, and the marionette sisters are just crazy period. I wonder if that's a sign, lol. If it is, it makes me sad, because I'd really like to be able to do more art like this.
